File Processing
PDF Rotator is designed with your privacy as a top priority. All PDF file processing, including uploading and rotation, is done locally on your computer within your browser. Your PDF files are never uploaded, sent, or stored on any external server.
Data Collection
The extension itself does not collect or store any personal data.
To provide paid features, we use a third-party service called ExtensionPay, which processes payments through Stripe. When you make a one-time purchase, these services collect the following information:
- Personally Identifiable Information: Your email address is collected to manage your purchase and send you a receipt.
- Financial and Payment Information: Your payment card details and transaction history are collected by Stripe to securely process the payment. This information is never seen by or stored by the PDF Rotator extension itself.
This data is used solely for the purpose of processing your payment and verifying your purchase status. We do not sell or transfer your data to any other third parties.
“storage” Permission
The extension requests the "storage" permission in Chrome. This is used exclusively to save your payment status locally, so the extension can remember that you have paid for it.
